The ORION ODB80 is offered as an affordable intermediate bass for beginning and advancing players. This model uses select solid spruce and solid maple tone wood. Being a full solid body, this bass is extremely affordable for the high quality it comes in. Features a premium ebony fingerboard and tailpiece.
Available to order: 1/4 size (special order), 1/2 size (special order) and 3/4 size.
The ODB80 has been professionally setup by a luthier prior to sale. This improves tonality, durability, and playability of the bass.
Crescendo’s professional String Instrument Setup includes:
- shaping the fingerboard and nut to professional curvature
- carving and fitting the bridge to the instrument
- shaping and fitting pegs
- upgrading strings with quality studio steel strings
- tuning the instrument
- fitting and adjusting the soundpost
