Description

Easy to understand and inspiring for all musicians wishing to explore the secrets of jazz improv. The first CD includes blues in Bb and F, four dorian minor tracks, four-measure cadences, cycle of dominants, 24-measure song, II/V7 in all keys and Jamey playing exercises from the book (hear the master clinician demonstrate exactly how it's done). The second CD contains the same tracks as the first, but the tempos are much slower to facilitate easier learning and "doubletime" practicing. The book includes specific instruction on playing jazz, including how chords and scales relate to each other and how to start building your first jazz solos.. Transposed parts for all instruments are also included.
